the start – we helped pioneer a new channel for Gatorade. One that tapped into the heart and soul of the brand, the unique connection with athletes all over. I develpoed a design process to deliver an authentic collaboration between the Gatorade brand and athlete. A key component was implementing an in-person workshop, where I met with athletes to talk through ideas, instigate conversation and understand ways the brand and athlete can motivate young athletes all over. From there the insights and alignment inform the design process and production. He was fighter both in and out of the ring, which inspired the concept - CLASH OF BRASH. The artwork uses a bold black and white graphic pattern made of type, iconography, creating a wall of words that highlight what people remember ALI for. For the bottle design we created a custom GOAT type treatment for the back side panel to serve as inspiration for the eyes that see it and more importantly enables the user to take on the GOAT Just like Serena, the color palette is bold and playful – feeling fresh and modern. Working with Serena, we created the message, “You Got This”to share with all aspiring youth today. Solution: This epic collection of athlete collaborations was as fun to design as it was to connect with each individual. This work brought me to four different locations across two countries, as the Gx team and I met with each athlete to share early visual concepts based on stories from their formative years. Our goal was to highlight each individual athlete while also tying back to the broader Gatorarde campaign of youthful joy and love that exists in sports, living together as a cohesive group.One of the best experiences was extracting personal stories from each of these outstanding athletes that are so relatable to young athletes -- like driving for hours on the weekends for tournaments with their parents, like Trevor Lawrence, or how love for a sport began with pick up games in the neighborhood, like Tatis Jr. and playing batilla in the Dominican Republic. It was a joy and an honor to visually tell these stories while maintaining a tie to broader business objectives. It was an absolute blast designing and co-facilitating the workshops for each athlete, leading the conceptual design for each athlete's bottle, and managing my team of designers and content strategists. I helped implement a design led process where I co-facilitated an in-person workshop with Serena Williams to uncover juicy nuggets to inform the creative work. The result, an authentic Gx Kit experience with Serena Williams that brought a unified message to young athletes all over about strength and how it is much more than the physical component. The pattern was inspired by bold colors, gothic typography (pulled from Serena’s nail art). Our approach was to refine and modernize it without losing familiarity. We stripped away the heavy drop shadows and shading, injected more personality into the letterforms, and introduced a circular holding shape to create a cleaner, more iconic identity system. BRING BACK THE BAKERY&nbsp;Founded in Colorado, Udi Baron opened a small bakery with the mission of creating better gluten-free bread. In 2008, alongside an expert gluten-free baker, he helped revolutionize the category by bringing one of the first truly great-tasting gluten-free breads to mainstream grocery shelves. In frozen, visibility is important, so we paired large floods of color with open windows to help products stand out through freezer doors. The Udi’s logo acts like a bakery seal, a final approval, layered over bold color fields with deckled edges and bakery-inspired messaging to bring the craft and personality to the system.&nbsp;︎ BRAND CHARACTERS UDI’S BAKERYCHARACTER ILLUSTRATIONIf we had to choose a favorite part of the project, it would probably be the character exploration. WHAT / 100s is the hub for live betting with Everyday Event Intelligence, providing insights, prediction outcomes, and visualizing probabilities.&nbsp; STRATEGY / We kicked things off with brand strategy to define the character and essence of 100s. The goal was to evolve from the familiar emoji into a credible, energetic betting platform while keeping the intuitive appeal that makes it instantly recognizable. The upward angle and underscore naturally connect to the betting mindset, so we leaned into that energy. From there, we explored the nuances of numerals in depth, ultimately designing custom number forms that became the foundation of the mark. The result captures confidence and motion, while a set of secondary brand seal treatments adds the credibility needed to build trust in the space.
